Today, we celebrated our twinions third birthday at The Little Gym. Luca and Matteo loved having all the attention on them. The instructors entertained the little ones with all sorts of games and activities. Our boys ran around climbing on balance beams, jumping off of tall foam wedges and flipping on the mats. They were elated to be unrestricted. The best part about the celebration was watching my twinions run without any inhibition. Happy birthday sweet babies.

The Twins turn Three
Today is Luca & Matteo's 3rd birthday! I could burst into tears just thinking about what these two have taught me over the last three years. They frolic, flop, hit, smash, dance, prank and skip. Above all, they keep me on my toes. Some days, having twins feels like we've won the lottery. Other times, it feels like running the gauntlet. I'm not sure how I was chosen to be their mom, but I wouldn't trade them for the world. They are beautifully unique & wonderfully alike.

Happy Halloween
This year we asked Joey what he wanted to be for Halloween. Before I even finished asking the question, he shouted out, "Dark Vather!" I asked him why he wanted to dress up as Darth Vader. He said, "because I want to be a bad guy mommy!" Ok buddy. The darkest thing about my little Joey is his obsession with Star Wars, thanks to Disney's Star Wars Rebels. I just love this time of year. I love seeing my littles in their costumes even more. Luca wasn't as excited to put his Chewbacca costume on as he was about swinging around his light saber. Even though wookie's don't have light sabers. Matteo truly fit the part of Yoda. His little voice even sounded like him. As for baby Nico, I looked everywhere for an R2-D2 costume and couldn't fine one. I ended up finding a small Darth Vader costume for him in the pet section at Target. Why not!?! I have a feeling Halloween won't be the only day my little ones sport these costumes this year.

Orbit Baby
I just love pushing my baby around town in this orbit baby infant car seat and stroller. Nico has a ball riding in it too! He giggles and coos while he takes in all of the sights and sounds around him. It's circular base allows me to secure the car seat at any angle in the stroller and also in the car. It's ability to spin 360 degrees makes it a breeze getting baby in and out of the car. He loves when I turn it toward me to unbuckle him. He smiles from ear to ear, flails his arms, and kicks his legs all around with pure joy. The orbit baby acts as a cocoon with its deeper side walls, making it safer in case of an accident. Being some what of a germophobe, the paparazzi shield puts me at ease when inquisitive onlookers appear. Lastly, the carrier handle is soft and is much easier to rest upon my hip, keeping baby close, when I'm carrying him in and out of the car and to and from the house. We love our orbit baby and every time I'm out and about, everyone else loves it too!

Pumpkin Pie
I don't know what it is about this little pumpkin, but when I look at him I want to eat him. He is as sweet as pie. He didn't love the inside of the cold, carved pumpkin. However, once we got his legs through the holes, he loved all of the attention. Baby Nico is a real trooper.

You only turn five once
Today we celebrated Joseph's fifth birthday at Beverly Park. He wanted to have a super hero party. My body aches from head to toe, but it was worth it to see my Joey boy so happy. He deserved all of the extra attention he got today. There's only one day a year that he isn't obligated to share with his baby brothers. Even so, after he opened one of his gifts and saw how sad Luca was, he passed his little brother the truck and told him not to break it. Moments like that proved to me what I already knew to be true. This boy is wise beyond his five years. He really is a Super Joey!
