First laugh
Our number four has turned our world upside down in the best way possible. Before Nico, I used to think that getting out of the house everyday was a must. Now I'm satisfied to get everyone dressed and fed. We save the going out for when I have helping hands. This little man smiles spontaneously, enjoys tummy time for short intervals, watches faces closely with big wide eyes, and brings his hands to his mouth to self soothe. My most favorite new milestones is hearing this little peanut laugh. He weighs 14 lbs and is 24 inches long.

Nico's baby blessing
We arrived at the chapel forty minutes early, which is unheard of for our family. I nursed Nico while we waited for the services to begin. When it came time for his dad to carry him to the front of the chapel for his blessing, my nerves got the better of me. I was hopeful that he wouldn't cry and that we could all hear his blessing aloud. Ironically, I cried because he didn't. Beautiful words were said and the spirit was felt.
Following church services, we had a hand full of our dearest friends over to our home for delicious Cafe Rio style food. We enjoyed the rest of our Mother's Day with friends that we love, but most importantly, with baby Nico.
