European Union Embassies Open House

I have looked forward to this day ever since I discovered it was possible. The annual European Union Embassies Open House did not disappoint. Twenty eight participating countries opened their embassy doors to the public for a rare look into their cultural traditions. I expected the event to be full of delicious food and family fun, but what I hadn't anticipated was how kind the members would be. On our short cut through Europe, we visited Italy, Great Britain, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, and Belgium. The diplomats were proud to show off the inner-workings of their native lands. We enjoyed authentic music, art, dance, fashion, food, cars, and meeting service men. The highlights, according to me, were the brick-oven pizza from Italy and the freshly pressed waffles from Belgium. Joey's favorite part was playing with the duplo's in Sweden and dancing to Italian folk music. We all left with arms full of swag.

Mom, which one is mine?
